The Door Store Founded
Working as a door salesman, Dick Hall and his wife Rena started The Door Store in Ames after seeing the demand for a quality door company.
1980
The First Door Store Office Built
Working as a door salesman, Dick Hall and his wife Rena started The Door Store in Ames after seeing the demand for a quality door company.
1982
The Door and Fence Store Formed
The Door and Fence Store was formed when the fence division was added to provide seasonal opportunities for employees.
2005
Moving Locations
Recognizing the need for more space, The Door and Fence Store moved to its current location at Westport Station.
2016
